Writing Village is a website created for Freelance writers.

In the past a number of websites provided an opportunity to publish and show case the work of freelance writers. Most of them have now shut down.Writing Village will attempt to fill that void.

It will be publishing original (including reprints but strictly no plagiarism) works,articles,poetry, book reviews,essays and anecdotes by Writers, Authors, Book reviewers,Poets and other Freelancers on this website.Some suggested topics are available at this link. Interested writers, authors, poets may please read the Copyright and Disclaimer clauses before mailing their articles to Mail articles to-Writing Village

Writing Village will publish reasonable quality articles, poems, book reviews in 48-72 hours after formatting and spell checking the article. A book reviewer may review any published book, however it will be useful if information about the name of author, publisher, price, pages and ISBN is also sent in. No reading fees or charges are to be paid by the authors or poets or reviewers and the website will not pay any remuneration. The content will belong to the writers and they will hold the copyright on the same. After publication the relevant webpage link will be sent via email. This link can be used by writers as a part of their portfolio.

If the author, writer, poet, book reviewer, has a website, a weblink will be added at the end of the article. This link will help drive traffic to author's website.

If the writer does not hear from us, it is a polite way of saying that the article does not fit the bill.
